Technology encourages professionals to utilize digital tools, resources, and other technologies into their practice. Important elements of this professional competency: Digital literacy and citizenship within student communities, professionals, and institutions; innovation of technology to provide engaging learning opportunities for students.

Evidence of Individual Proficiency

Incorporated virtual resources and technology into coursework by providing links to free resources, like a weekly planner, in coordination with a Time Management lesson in CSP 1013: Principles of Collegiate Success.

 

Allowed students to access various websites to better understand online campus resources and how to incorporate technology into college success strategies.

 

Finds professional development resources that provide current information on adoption patterns of new technologies as well as the purposes and functionalities that can be used in professional practice.
